Focus on streaming operations: less theory, more practice
Take A Walk Through The Streaming Video Workflow
The streaming industry is full of great conferences. Some address deep technology topics, like Demuxed and Mile High Video, while others more high-level business topics like Streaming Media East and the StreamTV Show. But there hasn’t been an event yet focused on the operation of streaming platforms: the many challenges facing operators and how they might solve them.
Say Hello to SEGMENTS
From content acquisition through playback and analytics, SEGMENTS looks at the challenges of delivering a reliable, high-quality streaming service at scale.
Experts from throughout the streaming video ecosystem give 15-20 minute presentations focused on a technical challenge in a specific segment of the streaming video workflow and how they tried to solve it. SEGMENTS also includes brief updates from SVTA working groups.
Each SEGMENTS conference is a one-day event which happens in conjunction with one of the SVTA Member Meetings. SEGMENTS is open to the public and anyone can attend.

Some Of The Attending Brands
Why Attend? Why Sponsor?
What Can You Expect As An Attendee?
At SEGMENTS, attendees will hear from industry practitioners and how they solved a variety of technical challenges throughout the streaming video workflow. In addition to the educational component, attendees will also have ample time to engage with colleagues, during breaks, lunch, and happy hour, as well as have a chance to engage with sponsors.
What Can You Expect As A Sponsor?
Although not an IBC- or NAB-style tradeshow, SEGMENTS sponsors will have plenty of opportunity to get their brands in front of attendees. Sponsor logos will be emblazoned on the event t-shirts, all break slides, and signage at lunch and the happy hour event. In addition, sponsors will get significant social mentions from the SVTA accounts, as well as directly to SVTA members through newsletters and other email communications prior to the event. There may also be a demo room (subject to availability).
